It all started with a small piece of land atop the St-Joseph-Du-Lac mountain. This is the location where, year after year, over 3000 flourishing apple trees showed hopes for very generous crops. However, the history of the land changed in the summer of 2007.
Brigitte and Michel, both managers in the pharmaceutical industry, decided that their lives were to go in a different direction. They became owners of ‘’Le Verger de la Tentation” in July 2007 in order to carry out their cheese factory project, a long-time dream.
Following the first apple season, the new owners undertook the construction of a sheep barn, which would shelter their new tenants arriving on December 23. They moved on with the cheese factory installations as soon as January. Their efforts were finally rewarded, as they were granted with their fabrication license, precisely one year after acquiring the site.
And so, the story continues....
